The Realization of His Future — Dapper D #Issue 3

The Celestial Luminary had gone quiet.

Its waters stilled. Its flora dimmed back to their natural glow. The conversation was over — but the vision was not.

Dapper D turned and walked away from the hill. One step. Then another. The night air of Planet Trendz moved around him the same way it always had. Nothing about the world had changed.

Everything about him had.

Entry 2 Scene 1 — Dapper D Leaving the Celestial Luminary

He did not rush. He never rushed. His red plaid suit remained crisp, his wide brim hat sitting exactly where it always sat. To anyone watching from a distance — he was simply a well dressed man taking an evening stroll. Nothing more.

But the vision kept looping.

Faces. Voices. A future already written playing on a silent reel behind his eyes. Trendy. Nova. And Chic.

His sister.

He let that land again. Quietly. The way only the still ones know how to receive something enormous — not by reacting to it, but by making room for it.

Entry 2 Scene 2 — Dapper D In The City

While strolling down the vibrant, lively city streets of Planet Trendz — the colors loud, the energy electric, life moving in every direction around him — Dapper D walked in his own frequency. Present. Grounded. Certain. He already knew what came next. He simply was not ready to say it out loud yet.

And then he heard her.

"DDDD — OVER HERE!"

He turned.

Chic was standing in line outside the Planet Trendz Café, red beret sitting perfectly, her white ECCENTRIC TRENDZ tee catching the city light. She was waving at him with the kind of energy that could shift the temperature of a room — and she did not even know it yet.

He walked over without a word. That was always his way.

Entry 2 Scene 4 — The Hug

She hugged him without hesitation. The way she always did. Fully. Without reservation.

But she felt it immediately.

She pulled back just enough to look at him. Her eyes searching his face the way only someone who truly knows you can search.

"What's wrong?" she asked. No preamble. No softening. Just the question — direct and full of care.

"Nothing," he said.

And he held her gaze steady when he said it. Because that was also his way.

She studied him for a moment longer. Then let it go. Not because she believed him — but because she trusted him. There was a difference. And Dapper D understood that difference better than anyone.

They moved through the line together. The city hummed around them. The café smelled like everything warm and familiar. By the time they reached their table — something had shifted.

Entry 2 Scene 5 — The Laugh

He settled into his seat. Adjusted his hat. Looked around the café the way he always did — taking in everything, revealing nothing.

And then — slowly — the corners of his mouth moved.

Chic caught it immediately.

"There he is," she said out loud. Laughing before the words were even finished.

And Dapper D laughed. Fully. Genuinely. The kind of laugh that does not perform itself — it simply arrives.

For that moment — the vision could wait. The mission could wait. The future he was now carrying alone could wait.

Right now there was just a table, a café, and his sister.

And that was enough. 🌙
