After Trendy and Chic's departure to Earth, Dapper D stayed behind on the hilltop in the Celestial Luminary, in anticipation of the arrival of the Woman of Fire. As he sat in his stillness and calmly wiped the bead of sweat from his face, he waited patiently for some comfort from Planet Trendz but there was only The Golden Silence.
The moon rose, mirroring the water beneath. Waves crashing and his body's temperature rising, signifying his conviction of the vision. With each passing moment, Dapper D's anticipation rose higher having already seen what was to unfold.
Then suddenly, fragments of the vision started flashing in his mind's eye. Broken images of the Woman of Fire. Her hair, Afrocentric at its core. Her skin, smooth as silk with a shade similar to the dirt of the Celestial Luminary. Her tears and the heaviness of what she had just broken free from. Then An image of her on fire.
Simultaneously, his body's temperature started rising again. Sweat started to drip down his face profusely as he remained in his stillness.
The silence in the Celestial Luminary broke subtly, while he stayed entranced. The water beneath started to become more violent. even the rain poured down unrelenting, ultimately helping Dapper D snap out of it while those same fragments started to unfold in real time.
He stood from his seated position atop the hill, And saw Trendy and Chic in the distance, as he shifted his gaze, his eyes met the Woman of Fire. With tears in her eyes, she looked depleted.
Chic noticed Dapper D and started to rush toward him to tell of what she and Trendy had witnessed on Planet Earth, but was immediately pulled back by Trendy, who recognized that this was Dapper d's moment.
He slowly inhaled with the rain beating down on him relentlessly, then exhaled, recognizing his purpose. He calmly started walking towards her.
Without uttering a word, the Woman of Fire started to voice the repressed feelings and emotions. Still and silent, as if he was holding space for her to empty her cup in that moment.
The more she poured out, the more he envisioned her engulfed in flames. He saw the pain, The hurt, The struggle she had fought through. He even started to feel the weight of being trapped in a place where she couldn't fully be herself, and in his mind's eye she was fully a blazed.
Dapper D took another deep breath, calmly leaned in and said — "You never had to hide."
Then, everything in the Celestial Luminary stood still, as if time itself hit paused. The rain cleared. The water became still again. Even the bioluminescent flora dimmed around them subtly.
Chic and Trendy stayed in the distance in shock and awe, witnessing it all real time.
Then the Woman of Fire started her introduction "I'm sorry, I just had to let it out i couldn't hold it in anymore, My name is Nova, and you are?"
Dapper D remained still but smirked, as if to be pleased to meet the woman he had only ever envisioned. "I'm Dapper D" he replied, again holding space for her to be present in that moment.
Already knowing what was next to unfold, he stayed silent.
Then Nova — the Woman of Fire — made her vow to return to Earth to liberate the Hidden Ones. 🌙
